Riks been busy last year doing bits of everything... He's rebuilt his own yellow suzuki as after 9 years of battering her to bitz it was time to give her a right good make over. he wanted to start all over again with her and totaly stripped her back to nothing and grinded, welded, painted, her back to life whilst putting her back together he amde a few changes along the way as rik plan was not just for playing he wanted a go at winching and with this in mind he placed a rear winch on the back and replaced the old tatty dash with a new plated one for all the switches you need for the extra boyish looks he wanted even putting internal lighting for that extra touch.....looks realy well now and worth every penny spent on her....

 

parkwood 4x4 and club offroad had a winch challenge oct 2010 and this was our first go at winching and being the only suzuki out of 12 other landy's we had somet to prove but with the suzukis first time out we was worried we might get a few problems, god dame we did we lost 4wd before we started, spending nearly 2hrs of the comp fixing it then we was going to give up and then we cracked on and had a go know we had a big catch up and think no chance of winning now....we got the puches out of the way first and the timed events and tulips were next then fuel problems started and kept cutting out and we kept fixing as we went on but this lost us loads of point and we wasnt giving up....by the end of the day we was exghausted and fustrated waited with everyone else for the results to see who placed where and we knew we wasnt one of them but enjoyed the day wanting more.....we placed 7th with only 25 points short of placing 3rd so we didnt do that bad....

 

Even better for us when i entred the suzuki in the british indoor 4x4 show and was put in the HARDCORE catorgory. looking forward to showing this jeep off for the first time was great...it sat there all day on the saturday and hoping to get the votes. at 3pm the result were made and by heck we wont best HARDCORE OFFROADER 2011. and now pictured in the may Total Offroad Mag was even better and hope this is the start of the return of the little suzuki in compertions.....these little trucks keep going and going.....
